Association des fédérations internationales olympiques d'été

Edited by Association of Summer Olympic International Federations. Lausanne - 2016

ASOIF commissioned a broader research study to establish the full extent of the 28 International Federations' anti-doping practices and incurred financial costs. The survey has four principal objectives : establish the anti-doping processes that individual International Federations implement within their respective sports, quantify the financial resources devoted to the International Federations' anti-doping efforts in 2015, compare these resources with those in the 2010 report, learn best practices from International Federations experience on how to better protect the clean athlete. The study was conducted from February to May 2016 in the form of an online questionnaire based on expenditure during the year 2015, the first year of implementation of the 2015 code. It surveyed the 28 International Federations that are ASOIF members governing sports on the programme of the Summer Olympic Games.
