This manual has been prepared by the Athens 2004 Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games to assist Olympic Family organisations in preparing and completing the accreditation process for their delegation members. All Olympic Family organisations participating in the Olympic Games Athens 2004 must undertake these processes in order to obtain the Olympic identity and accreditation cards (OIACs) for their delegates. The Olympic Family is comprised of the following organisations: International Olympic Committee and related organisations, International Federations, Host Organising Committee and its domestic dignitaries, Future Organising Committee and Observers, Olympic Partners, Official Candidate Cities, ANOC and Continental NOC Associations.
